Ikebana Vase

This is probably my most

popular pottery gift.  Made

from high fire stoneware

and measuring just 5" by 7",

this  little vase is a real

charmer! Each vase is

textured to give the look

of  river rocks.  The vase sits on four legs of cut tree branches (which Jim  cuts for me by the thousand) and the water receptacle is made from rod iron.

Ikebana is a Japanese style of arranging cut flowers.  The idea is to use just a few stems.  The pin "frog" inside the black water receptacle will hold any type of stem.  Just stick the stem in and the pins hold it straight up.  Keep it simple and elegant.  Less is better.  If you give this vase as a gift, you will be a big hit!
